Join us for a fall hike on TRLC’s “Outparcels Tract” located on Robertson Creek near Creedmoor in Granville County.  Learn about TRLC’s future plans for the 317 acres currently owned by TRLC along Robertson Creek.  Hikers will enjoy fall colors displayed by hardwood forest that buffers over 70 acres of wetlands and two miles of streams within the Outparcels Tract.  Beavers have been active on this property for several decades, creating an amazing wildlife refuge for birds, amphibians, and reptiles!  The hike will be led by biologist Gerald Pottern.  

The Outparcels Tract adjoins the north side of NC Highway 56 next to the Creedmoor Commons Shopping Center. GPS Coordinates at event location: 36.121505, -78.665801  Hikers will meet at the shopping center parking lot.

Please wear sturdy shoes and field clothing suitable for walking off-trail.  TRLC rates this hike as “moderate” difficulty.  We request that dogs, other than registered service animals, not be brought to the event.
