Individuals and groups who use city property are often unaware that they can be held legally and financially responsible for injury, accidents, and property damage resulting from their event. The City of Creedmoor requires event insurance for many events and activities held at city-owned facilities. 

The following options are available to individuals and groups that wish to rent facilities for special events:

1. Purchase a policy through a private insurance carrier (naming the City of Creedmoor as additional insured) and submit a Certificate of Insurance along with their rental agreement; or
