The Creedmoor Board of Commissioners recently authorized the release of the bid proposal and construction documents for the final three phases of the city’s Cross City Trail (CCT).  The first phase of the CCT sidewalk and greenway project was completed in 2013; the final three phases will connect residents on the east and west with downtown, the gymnasium and senior center, Lake Rogers Park along NC Hwy 56, and US Hwy 15. 

The first first round of bidding took place January 18, however the NC statute-required three bids were not received.

NCDOT pre-qualified construction companies will have the opportunity to offer sealed bids to construct the project.  The public bid opening is scheduledFebruary 15, 2019, at 2 p.m., in the City Hall boardroom, 111 Masonic Street, Creedmoor, NC 27522.  Once qualified bids have been collected and compared, the Board of Commissioners will have the right to accept or reject the results and, with NCDOT’s concurrence, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder will be selected.   For complete bid package information, please visit cityofcreedmoor.org/CCTbids.
