Function
The committee provides recommendations to the Creedmoor Parks and Recreation Department, the City Manager, and the Board of Commissioners regarding recreation policies, fees, facilities, community programs, long-range planning, and acquisition/ disposition of land. In addition, its members expand upon depart-mental goals and objectives to provide citizen and community stake-holder perspectives, serve as a liaison between city officials and citizens, strive to maintain a high standard for a visually appealing community through the effective management of natural, human, and financial resources, and work toward developing public interest in activities provided by recreation staff.

All terms begin on September 1.Resignations/Vacancies
If a member must resign prior to the expiration of his/her term, the member shall submit a letter of resignation to the City Clerk who will notify the Board of Commissioners, City Manager, CPRC members, and recreation staff.
